The History of SPOOK Revealed
Sheffield Postgraduate Occasional Orienteering Klubb have released details of it's history to the internet and the world orienteering stage.
It was started in 1978, and boasts members including world champions and many elite athletes from Sheffield University, both past and present.
There is more to come but the newest updates give us information about it's captains, it's mapped areas, a brief look at the first few years in the club and some of the success that has made both ShUOC (Sheffield University) and SPOOK some of the most prolific orienteering clubs in Britain.
There is also a photo in the site of this year's SPOOK meal, which was a celebration of the 40th year of ShUOC and the 30th Year of SPOOK.
