A New Year, No Fear!

I've looked at the last year and realised I really missed out on opportunities in orienteering, running, biking and many other outdoor activities and now I want to make amends.  I don't know whether it was to do with working, new life experiences, new people in my life or what, but I've got the new year spirit and want to take control of both my training and racing this year to do some of the best races that I can.

Looking at the year's events I se many changes taking place in the British Orienteering Calendar.  Lots of them confuse me but still the basic ev3ent structure is the same and the areas being used for major events look top draw.

With areas such as the New Forest, Grace Dieu and other events abroad, 2009 will be perfect for what I want to accomplish this year both technically and physically.

Climbing will also be another focus and with trips to Fontainbleau planned both for orientering and climbing purposes, I can't wait to get into the technical bouldering forests.

...so on with it.  I'll be starting to document my training on attackpoint as the season progresses also... so watch this space!
