Oli in the Algarve


The clear winner in the Portugal O Meet in M21 Elite is Oli Johnson from Great Britain.

Oli is based in Sheffield and runs forboth  VÄSTERÅS SOK in Sweden and also South Yorkshire Orienteers in the UK and was the Britain's best runner in their domestic season in 2007 and ranked #1 on the British Orienteering Federation Ranking List.

Oli also has his own personal website, Oli&Jenny and he trains in Sheffield with SYO, Hallamshire Harriers and Sheffield University Orienteering Club during the week.

 Mike Sprot also from Sheffield did well finishing in 11th overall.  Other British competitors in the 21E were Rob Baker (16th), Neil Northrop (18th) and Shane Ohly (61st) all from the South Yorkshire Club.  In the ladies, Laura Daniel was the top performer in 16th position on W21E.
